Dear Yamaha XT-Reme Terrain Challenge participants,
As you may have seen and heard by now, Loretta Lynn Ranch and the town of Waverly, TN was recently devastated by massive flooding which caused a great deal of damage including some losing loved ones and others everything they had, including their homes. Yamaha has made the decision that we will not be hosting the XT-R event on its originally scheduled dates. Instead we will be focusing our efforts on ways to help Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and the community of Waverly. Please stay tuned to more information in the coming weeks.
We are planning to refund your entry fees due to the postponement of the event, however, if you would like to donate your entry fees to the relief efforts, Yamaha will match your contribution with 100% going to the town of Waverly. Some of you have proactively reached out about donating your entry fees to help the community and for that we are both moved and grateful to have such a wonderful, giving group within our Yamaha family. I will be sending out a brief survey in the next couple of days to everyone so that you can us how you would like to proceed. We will also be looking for the appropriate time to reschedule the Yamaha XT-Reme Terrain Challenge so that we can get together with our Yamaha friends and family. We will be back in touch with more information in the coming weeks.
