YSRC High Performance Clutch System The YSRC primary and roller secondary clutches are calibrated for durable, cool operation. They efficiently harness and transfer the massive torque produced by the Genesis Turbo to the track, all while minimizing drive belt wear. The primary shifts out aggressively to use all of the power while the roller secondary is quick to back-shift and provides additional ratio through its oversized sheaves for continuous acceleration.
Fox® 1.5 QS3 Front Shocks The Sidewinder L-TX GT is equipped with Fox QS3 shocks that feature a piggyback chamber that delivers reduced fading, exceptional control and three easy ways to adjust the compression damping performance settings, so you can quickly and easily adjust the ride based on the conditions and your riding preference.
Dual Shock SR 137 Q53 Rear Suspension The Dual Shock SR 137 rear suspension offers premium ride comfort with additional bump bridging capabilities, floatation and traction. The ride and comfort is further enhanced with HPG center and adjustable Fox QS3 rear shock absorbers. The SR 137 is a “coupled” suspension that utilizes a unique “sliding” front arm mount. With up to a half-inch of movement at the front arm “slot," the system allows the SR 137 to deliver controlled ski-lift during acceleration while still retaining front arm bump compliance.
ARCS Front Suspension The ARCS front suspension features tall, strong forged alloy spindles and redesigned lightweight upper A-arms. Revised for optimum suspension function and increased ground clearance, the Sidewinder L-TX GT has a more predictable and consistent handling with less chassis roll.
Engine Braking Reduction System The effect of 4-stroke 'engine braking' when the throttle valves are closed has a significant impact on handling and ride character, so Yamaha developed a special system which employs the ISC (idle speed control) circuit and ECU map that uses throttle valve movement and RPM information to reduce negative intake pressure during deceleration.
Stealth Control System The handlebar controls feature a left-sided switch cluster for “on-the-fly” access to the multi-step hand and thumb warm adjusters, the push button reverse gear shift and the multi-function gauge that can be easily select information with a convenient toggle. On the right side, a clean bar hosts an ergonomically-shaped throttle lever and a simple, stand-alone emergency stop switch. The Hayes 'Stealth' brake cylinder is equipped with a composite brake lever that, coupled with a lightweight caliper, offers better feel and powerful stopping performance.
Protective Windshield The medium-smoked polycarbonate windshield shields the high-mileage rider from the coldest days. Incorporating a small lip at the top, the windshield deflects wind and snow up and over the rider at speed while the flared edges provide added protection and warmth for your hands. Thicker than standard windshields, this windshield reduces mirror vibration at speed and features pre-marked indents for easy installation of the optional mirrors.

Push Button Reverse With just the push of your thumb, you can easily shift to and from reverse. A servo motor shifts the drivetrain into reverse simply and consistently while an audible warning beeper reminds you when the system is still in reverse.
20" Tunnel Bag The under-seat bag provides additional storage. With it's semi-rigid design, the bag is easy-to-access and water resistant while the quarter-turn, quick-release fasteners make for a quick removal.
High Tech Turbo Able to withstand highly elevated temperatures, the Nickel alloy turbine body is extremely strong and precise. Supported by premium ceramic ball bearings, the Inconel turbine blade assembly is very light and strong which yields a low moment of inertia for a lightning quick response to the exhaust gas input. Triple throttle bodies are used exclusively to further enhance the quick delivery of compressed air from the impeller to the intake valves.
Mitsubishi Electronic Control Unit The Yamaha-developed Mitsubishi ECU uses a series of 9 sensors to gather running condition data to compute a predetermined memory map which will adjusts ignition timing, fuel delivery, manifold air-pressure and turbo boost pressure to produce maximum performance under any condition.
Triple Throttle Body Induction The Yamaha Genesis turbo engine's intake system uses three separate throttle bodies that are positioned very close to the intake valves to create a quick engine response with little to no lag. This is something not see in any other production turbo on the planet.
Electronic Air Bypass Valve (ABV) Unlike conventional turbo 'blow-off' valves, the Yamaha ABV redirects air pressure back into the intake side of the compressor which prevents surge and maintains impeller speed.
Liquid Cooled Turbo Body When the engine shuts down, the convection energy produced by the super-heated coolant at the turbo head keeps circulating without the coolant pump in operation which eliminates the need for an engine cool down cycle, all while maintaining the turbo components' durability.
Centralized Mass Design The SRV chassis layout was engineered to centralize mass. Approximately 60% of the sled's weight is tightly centered within the main triangulation for a quick-handling, well-balanced sled that's fun to throw around in a wide variety of conditions.
Lightweight, Rigid SRV Chassis The SRV chassis combines a load-bearing triangulated structure with lightweight aluminum construction to create a neutrally balanced sled that's centered on the rider. The pyramidal upper frame builds chassis strength without excessive weight.
New Single Keel Ski The new Yamaha-designed single keel ski strikes the elusive balance between lightweight steering effort and precision handling. Unique, staggered carbides further enhance steering response while the exclusive shim pad assembly works with the rubber saddle block to adjust the carbide pressure point. By relocating the thick spacer located on each ski axle to the opposite side, the ski stance becomes adjustable.
