• Objective
    • To support motorcycle safety training and education, Yamaha will reimburse riders up to $100 who successfully complete an MSF or state authorized rider education course within 120 days of their product purchase.
    • Incentive will be paid directly to the customer who completes an MSF or state authorized rider education course and purchases an eligible motorcycle or scooter model.
  • Eligibility
    • Incentive is available to legal residents of the continental United States and Alaska, who are at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in Hawaii, Puerto Rico and any other U.S. territories, possessions and where prohibited by law.
  • Eligible Models
    • New Yamaha Street, Dual Purpose or Off-Road motorcycle or scooter model, regardless of model year.
  • How It Works
    • This incentive is limited to Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) education courses or state authorized rider education courses only. (Beginning Rider or Experienced Rider courses).
    • Customer contacts their dealer to find a state authorized rider education course or call 800.466.9227 to find an MSF course located nearest you.
    • Training must be completed within 120 days prior to or after the purchase of an eligible model (based on retail sale date as entered into YDS at the time of warranty registration).
    • Customer completes the online claim form and emails required documentation no later than 150 days after purchase of an eligible model (based on retail sales date as entered into YDS at the time of warranty registration). Customer receives check directly from Yamaha within 6-8 weeks of completing all program requirements.
    • Only one (1) MSF or State Authorized Rider Education Course incentive per rider per year and maximum one (1) incentive per VIN number will be allowed.
  • Incentive
    • $100 = Street or Dual Purpose Motorcycle.
    • $50 = Off-Road Motorcycle or Scooter.
  • Customer Responsibility
    • Upon completion of the course, customer logs on to www.yamahamotorsports.com/ridereducation and completes and prints out the MSF or State Authorized Rider Education Course Incentive Claim Form. Customer emails the following four (4) documents no later than 150 days after purchase of an eligible model (based on retail sales date as entered into YDS at the time of warranty registration):
      • Copy of Bill of Sales for the unit. (Customer name on the bill of sales and name entered in YDS warranty must match name of training completion card).
      • Course tuition receipt.
      • Course completion card.
      • MSF or State Authorized Rider Education Course Incentive Claim Form.
    • Customer emails to consumer_incentives@yamaha-motor.com.
  • Incentive check will be mailed by Yamaha directly to the customer address entered into the online MSF or State Authorized Rider Education Course Incentive Claim Form. For questions regarding check fulfillment, email consumer_incentives@yamaha-motor.com
