The Yamaha Technical
Academy (YTA) is the next step up from Five Star Certification
for technicians. The first of three levels is Bronze,
which is a comprehensive self-paced course the technician
completes at the dealership, followed by an extensive
online test. Silver certification comes by successfully
attending a demanding one-week “hands-on”
training course at a regional Yamaha training facility
in Georgia, Wisconsin or California. Only then can
the technician attempt the top-level Gold certification
by passing a rigorous test at the end of another demanding
week of training. Technicians with Gold certification
have shown themselves to be among the very best in
the business.

Both technician and
dealership receive acknowledgment for their achievements.
The technician receives a diploma and uniform patches
to recognize his or her level of achievement: Bronze,
Silver, or Gold. The dealer earns the right display
a plaque and, with a YTA Gold-Certified technician on
staff, YTA recognition on this website. |
