Rock River Racing has emerged over the years to prove that they not only can help amateur riders obtain their dreams of becoming National Champions, but carry those riders into the professional realm and help them transfer to Factory supported teams. Rock River Racing spawned from the joint effort of Rock River Power Sports, a 5 Star Pro Yamaha Multi Specialist Dealer, and Roost MX, one of fastest growing graphics companies in the country. Starting off small, Rock River dabbled in the Pro realm with Ben Lamay as their first supported rider. Mike DuClos, owner of Rock River Racing and Rock River Power sports has a love for the sport, and wanted to see his riders succeed and stay in the Yamaha family long after their amateur career. Teaming up with Chris and Christina Denney from Roost made an unstoppable force that continues to grow leaps and bounds each year with Christina obtaining Team Manager of the Year in 2011. Plans for this young team are yet to be determined as they raise the bar each year as to their level of support both at the Amateur and Professional levels. Their main focus has always been to transition the riders from Amateur to Pro, and guide them into factory supported deals, but just recently started putting more effort into taking the privateer riders to the next level through added product support and knowledge. Look for amazing things on the horizon for the is young Yamaha team as their quest for their first Professional championship continues.
