Pennsylvania-based Eleven10 Mods has become a thorn in the sides of the factory teams in recent years. Just a few years ago, the only people who had even heard the name Eleven10 Mods were southern Pennsylvania riders looking for a good engine rebuild. Back then, owner and operator Chad Sanner, a pro rider-turned-pro wrench, was just building bikes out of his basement.

Sanner eventually moved his operation into a two-car garage; soon after, in 2010, he decided to go big with local pro Darryn Durham and a white Chevy Express van. They made ripples in the deep pond of 250 supercross racing, but the ripples became waves shortly after the start of the 2011 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. By then Sanner had moved to an old alternator shop in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, trading in the Chevy for a box van. Durham, mostly overlooked when he turned pro, seemed to get faster, as did the 250 motorcycle underneath him. Together they challenged the mighty Pro Circuit Kawasaki team, almost stealing a moto win at High Point.

Things began to change quickly for both Durham and Eleven10 Mods. Darryn got the call from Pro Circuit after that season—a hard offer to refuse. Teammate Alex Martin moved into his spot and Eleven10 added Phil Nicoletti to its roster for 2012. The team continued to make waves with frequent holeshots, leading races, and inspired rides.

Moving into the 2013 season, Eleven10 Mods picked up factory support from Yamaha and aims to capitalize on the new program and resources. The revitalized Eleven10 Mods team is fielding Alex Martin, PJ Larsen, and rookie Brady Kiesel in the highly competitive East Region 250SX and beyond on their new Yamaha YZ250F race machines. As a team that’s always produced big results with little resources, the newest addition to the Yamaha family will be looking to hit the track with full force and producing even better results.
